The company has taken on a variety of resort and home building projects since its inception over 17 years ago. Following are a handful of examples of the company’s work.
Mango Bay Resort
Coral Coast, Fiji
Mango Bay Resort is a relatively new release on the Fiji experience, enjoying a huge popularity and offering an outer island feel on the mainland. PBS took on this demanding project to build 10 ocean front bures (traditional Fijian huts), 4 dormitory bures, common area bure, Restaurant, Nightclub and Lagoona Styled Pool & Bar all inside of 16 weeks. Have a look!

Little Polynesian Resort
Rarotonga, Cook Islands (export)
Little Poly’ is very much a boutique resort and the Cook Islands’ most exclusive 5-star resort. No stone was left unturned for this project. Attention to detail was important and the results are brilliant. Almost all of this project was supplied or prefabricated in PBS’ Suva facilities and shipped to the Cooks’.
Within a seven month timeframe, PBS completed 10 beachside bures and 4 garden bungalows with decks and courtyards along with a central facility building, pool, custom-made furniture and reception area. The entire resort was traditionally styled with a design flare that has superseded much of the typically accepted architecture in the Cook Islands.

Leleuvia Island Resort
Leleuvia Island, Fiji
PBS is proud to be spearheading the renovation of this treasured Fijian retreat located on the eastern side of Viti Levu near Levuka, Fiji’s old capital city. Amongst other things, the newly added Shower Flower amenities are the beginnings of a transformation that promises to carry the Leleuvia experience for generations to come.
In conjunction with the Leleuvia Island Resort project, PBS has contributed significant resources into renovating nearby Bau Island, the traditional home to the King of Fiji. Ratu Epenisa Cakobau’s own residence has been refurbished along with other historical buildings including the Bau church building. We thank the people of Bau Island for their help and hospitality.

Likuliku Lagoon Resort "overwater bures"
Malolo Island, Fiji
This brand new resort has been a huge project for all concerned. 36 beach side bures, 10 over-water bures, complete central facilities buildings, a comprehensive “back of house” complex and out-buildings infrastructure. PBS began this project on a supply only basis, providing pre-fabricated wall framing to the beachside Bures. Later, the experience of PBS was called on to build ten bure villas which were erected on platform structures, 3.0M above the sea, on the reef edge – Fiji’s first “overwater” bure resort is the result. Connecting the overwater Bures are over 300m of jetty type walkways.

Survivor Fiji
Labasa, Fiji
The hugely successful “Survivor” reality TV series finally made its way to Fiji in 2006. Getting involved in movie and TV projects like this is not a first for PBS which has provided its team and resources to help produce Anaconda, Under One Roof, Eco Challenge, Lost Treasures of Fiji, Love Island and MTV Road Rules to name a few. For Survivor Fiji in particular, PBS prefabricated and erected 170 “Safari Cabins” plus “Executive Tent Bungalows” to be used as crew accommodations. The PBS facilities are called on regularly to provide services to these types of projects and in each case we answer every challenge with a “can solve” approach.
